This month, we will be discussing BZA case 20856 regarding 451 Park Rd NW. The description is to construct a detached, two-story with cellar, principal dwelling unit in an accessory building, and convert to a flat, a semi-detached, three-story with cellar, principal dwelling unit in the RF-1 zone.

Committee Charter:

  • The ZED is responsible for the following: Identify appropriate issues in regards to job creation, business development, housing development and policy, and project development.
  • Identify appropriate issues in regards to land-use planning, zoning, historic preservation, and regulations
  • Draft resolutions for ANC 1E’s consideration
  • Coordinate public meetings as necessary. If a public meeting is held, a participant sign-in sheet and meeting notes shall be provided to ANC 1E within 30 calendar days of the meeting date.
  • Research and report findings and provide recommendations to ANC 1E
  • Track and notify ANC 1E of all relevant hearing dates.
