ANC 1E Adopts Resolution Urging Equity in District Pre-K Funding
On April 23, 2025, Advisory Neighborhood Commission 1E unanimously passed a resolution urging equitable funding for the Pre-K Enhancement and Expansion Program (PKEEP). The resolution emphasizes the need for fair distribution of educational resources, particularly for economically disadvantaged families, addressing funding imbalances in early education. Chair Brian Footer and Commissioner Brad Howard will represent the Commission on this issue.
