Rashida Brown proudly serves 1E04 and is a fourth term commissioner representing Park View and Pleasant Plains neighborhoods. During her ANC terms, she helped foster transportation projects promoting pedestrian, vehicular and bicycle safety and connectivity throughout her Single Member District and supported their extension within and beyond Ward One. She also worked with community members in leading a public safety task force for Georgia Ave, now Georgia Avenue Thrive, to support small businesses, protect the safely and well-being of residents and promote vibrancy and inclusivity along the corridor. Rashida has lived in Park View for over 15 years.
