This is our formal, decision-making meeting and where we share news, information, and updates critical to residents. Commissioners also vote on community matters, review development proposals, hear from agencies, and respond to resident input. Public participation is not only allowed, it’s encouraged!

ANC 1E holds two public meetings each month:
General Body Meetings
Generally held the 4th Wednesday of every month
This is our formal, decision-making meeting. Commissioners vote on community matters, review development proposals, hear from agencies, and respond to resident input. Public participation is encouraged.
Committee of the Whole (COTW) Meetings
Generally held the second Tuesday before each General Body meeting
This working session allows for informal discussion, early presentations, and agenda setting discussions among commissioners ahead of votes at the General Body Meeting. No public comments or questions at this administrative only meeting.

Why December 2: The fourth Wednesday in November falls the day before Thanksgiving. The meeting shifts one week to the first Wednesday in December.
**To ensure the continuity of services, ANC 1E shall also meet on Jan. 27, 2027, at 7 pm as the first meeting of the new calendar. At this meeting, the ANC will set the remaining calendar for 2027.
