On April 23, 2025, Advisory Neighborhood Commission 1E unanimously passed a resolution urging equitable funding for the Pre-K Enhancement and Expansion Program (PKEEP). The resolution emphasizes the need for fair distribution of educational resources, particularly for economically disadvantaged families, addressing funding imbalances in early education.
