ABOUT COMMISSIONER AUDRA GRANT
Audra Grant represents SMD 1E02 and serves as Executive Secretary of ANC 1E. A Park View resident for over 20 years, she brings deep experience in community leadership, neighborhood advocacy, and inclusive development.
Audra is a founding member of Georgia Avenue Thrive, a volunteer-driven initiative focused on public safety, small business support, and activating underutilized spaces along Georgia Avenue. She has supported community events including movie nights and festivals, neighborhood cleanups and placemaking projects that strengthen local solidarity and engagement.
She also sits on the Lower Georgia Avenue Main Streets Neighborhood Council, advancing economic development and local business resilience. She is the former president of the Luray-Warder Neighborhood Association, where she led efforts to improve city services and build stronger connections between residents and District agencies.
As commissioner, Audra remains focused on housing affordability, public and traffic safety, and equitable growth across Park View and Pleasant Plains.
